Merry Christmas

This is a little belated, but Merry Christmas! We're only a day away from seeing the Dawgs in their bowl game against Texas A&M. It will be kinda strange watching them play on a Monday evening at 5, after a full day of work. I've read that a few players weren't too happy about spending their Christmas in Shreveport, which will hopefully motivate them to play better next season, so that they don't end up there again. Let's just hope that they show up mentally tomorrow, so that it's not a blow-out. Lastly, I couldn't believe the news about Urban Meyer last night. I wish him well, since health is more important than the game of football.

Let the Bowl season begin!

Is anyone going to Shreveport? It's not the most exciting bowl, but it's one more chance to be on National tv (unfortunately, it's a 5pm est start, which is before most of us are out of work) and a chance to play a team from the Big 12. I will definitely be watching and rooting for the Dawgs.

I wonder what the BCS matchups would look like if McCoy had run out the clock? At the very least, the current BCS system keeps college football in the limelight in the month of December.

Lastly, MLB Network is awesome! I can't get enough of the replays from the 80's. Great uniforms! Why did most road team wear blue?? I would love for the Braves to wear their 80's road unis and have Dale Murphy throw out the first pitch.
